REGLER & ANMÄLAN

Rules and stuff

Flip Games is a tour consisting of 4 stops around the Nordics where up to 32 people in each competition compete for a ticket to the final in Åre and the chance to win SEK 10,000. The competition is structured according to the classic competition form "Game of flip". The jumpers meet head to head to knock out each other. During the year, other complementary jumping competitions/forms may be launched both within and outside FlipGames. Keep an eye out.

Flip Games may use free screening. The deadline for applications is ten days before the competition day. You can apply for several qualifications. Fill in one form per competition.

The competition fee of SEK 400 is paid on site. The fee includes the competition with a chance to win big prize money, jumping throughout the competition day, jumping socks, products from our sponsors and access to films and clips from the event.

Match rules

- The matches are one person against one person.

- Who starts the match is decided with a classic rock, scissors, bag.

- The person who chooses the trick must also perform the chosen trick.

- The opponent must imitate the chosen trick.

- If the opponent doesn't do the trick, he or she gets a dot, the turn is over and this person can choose a trick to challenge.

- If the opponent manages the trick, they do not get a dot, the turn is over and this person can now choose a trick to challenge.

- At 3 dots you lose and go out.

- There is only one chance to perform a trick.

- When a person has 2 dots, they have two chances to imitate the opponent's trick.

- A landing mat may be used when landing.

- The judge always decides whether the trick is approved or whether a point should be awarded.

Tricks

- Before each trick is performed, the person whose turn it is must tell the spectator specifically which trick they will perform. This is called "calling the trick".

- A trick may only be used once during the current match. For example, if one person does an extended backflip, the next person may not challenge with an extended backflip.

- Tricks may be performed in different variations such as layout, grouping, piking or any grab. If the trick is to include a specific position, it must be told when the trick is selected. If no position is mentioned, the opponent may perform the trick in any position.

- How the trick will be landed must always be told before the trick is performed. Permitted ways of landing are: feet, back and stomach.

- A trick can be reused if the position or the way the trick is landed is changed. For example: If one person does a double backflip to the feet, the next person may challenge with a double backflip to the back.
